Simon Wald-Lasowski (Paris, 1980) is a freelance photographer, designer and art director. He lives in Amsterdam and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2004. Occasionally he also works as a Wedding MC.
Each year the W139 art space in Amsterdam hires a new designer. In 2007 I designed flyers folding out into A2 posters for each exhibition. The designs were based on surveys that I send to the artists about their inspirations. For the "Contented Heart" for example, I used some of the favorite books of the painters as a backdrop to their work.
