Simon Wald-Lasowski (Paris, 1980) is a freelance photographer, designer and art director. He lives in Amsterdam and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2004. Occasionally he also works as a Wedding MC.
Photo series for the "Brain Issue". Somehow I can't help myself trying to make humoristic and catchy images, even when dealing with heavy subjects. The "tilt" image illustrates a rather dry article about a lecture on brains. I found it interesting to approach a cartoon classic in a dry scientific manner. The hand removing a Play-Doh tumor illustrates an interview with a brain surgeon.
