Sun Ra was a legendary experimental jazz musician know among others for his outrageous outfits and "cosmic" philosophies. This pioneer of Afrofuturism was supposedly born on Saturn!

Drawing inspiration from the rich 'spaced out' imagery surrounding Sun Ra & his Arkestra, Stephen Serrato and myself decided to create imaginary landscapes from Sun Ra's birth planet. We therefore named this series of re-issues Views of Saturn.

Each 12" features an original piece by Sun Ra and a remix by a contemporary electronic musician.
