Simon Wald-Lasowski (Paris, 1980) is a freelance photographer and art director.
He lives in Amsterdam and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2004. Occasionally he also works as a Wedding MC.

Matik is an "electro-pop" band from Amsterdam. There are five members in the band, and five letters in their name. It seemed logic to combine both (and to make them look as if they just came out of an intense gig!)

Bands are always asked to define their sound. To make it easier, for Matik I just put down their musical influences on merchandise in the form of a graph.

ps: I didn't design the logo...
