Simon Wald-Lasowski (Paris, 1980) is a freelance photographer and art director.
He lives in Amsterdam and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2004. Occasionally he also works as a Wedding MC.

Febo is a famous junk food chain in the Netherlands. Roel and Luna were designing a publication about the future of the Stadionplein, a neighbourhood in Amsterdam about to go though drastic architectural and structural changes. They asked me to think what would happen to the local Febo ?

The Dutch will always love their junk food, but the production of it will shift towards locally and biologically produced goods. My prediction for the future of the local snack bar, is that it will sell grains enabling people to grow their own greasy snacks, and to pluck them from trees as in "heaven".
