Simon Wald-Lasowski (Paris, 1980) is a freelance photographer, designer and art director. He lives in Amsterdam and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2004. Occasionally he also works as a Wedding MC.

When Blend asked me to make flower still lifes for the return of the spring, I realized that finding new ways to interpret this classic theme would be very difficult.

I didn't even try to make flowers look pretty. Instead I just build my own little drug lab to turn flowers into narcotics. It's not such a wild idea. After all, most drugs are made from plants.
