The 'Kinderboekenweek' is a yearly event promoting children's books in all the bookstores and libraries of the Netherlands.
I was asked to create 'book friends' that would accompany the kids in their world of fantasy.
These 'friends' are life size, and made out of hundreds of books that we drilled and placed on an articulated metal skeleton!
