Simon Wald-Lasowski (Paris, 1980) is a freelance photographer and art director.
He lives in Amsterdam and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2004. Occasionally he also works as a Wedding MC.

The article was about a special school for Jewish children, set up after the war in order for them to catch up on the knowledge that they missed during hiding.

To brighten up the story I combined old footage from the school with colourful school supplies that children often love to buy before the start of the school year.
