The Stedelijk Museum had a huge Andy Warhol retrospective a few years ago. The K-Swiss concept store decided to join the fun and asked me to organize an event to launch the limited edition Andy inspired sneakers. The event was great, we had Batman and Robin deejaying, 50's style girls serving burgers and even a vintage photo booth with props which proved very entertaining!
I was also asked to make an ad for the event. I just received a pair of sneakers and total freedom to use them as I wanted. Andy had so many quotes, he might as well have come up with this one!
The die-hard fans might recognize the “A” as the letter from the book “a by Andy Warhol”.
