Simon Wald-Lasowski (Paris, 1980) is a freelance photographer and art director.
He lives in Amsterdam and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2004. Occasionally he also works as a Wedding MC.

The Volkskrant Magazine asked various creatives to create 'free' work for their Saint Valentine/Love Issue.

Rather than focusing on all the beautiful and magical things Love can be; I decided to visualize the dramatic, violent, possessive & controlling paths it can take.

Or is the bride simply protecting her husband!?
